The Barragunda Collective

Cape Schanck, Mornington Peninsula

Cooperative hub of young regenerative farmers at Barragunda Estate, Cape Schanck. Members share land, equipment, kitchens and distribution while supporting each other through the daily challenges of small-scale agriculture. Weekly online orders (cut-off 6pm Tuesday) for Friday farm pickup — vegetables, herbs, eggs, grass-fed beef, seedlings and more, all grown on site.

The Barragunda Collective is a cooperative hub of farmers who operate with regenerative and sustainable practices at the forefront of their everyday lives. They work together by sharing access to land, equipment, kitchens, and distribution outlets and support each other by finding innovative ways to overcome the daily challenges of running a small agriculture-based business. Current members include Morning Penni Farm (market garden — Karl Breese), Ethereal Floristry (sustainable cut flowers — Amy Mosley), Reforest Bush Nursery (native and indigenous plants for ecological restoration — Sam Humphreys), The Potted Fox (seasonal vegetable and herb seedlings — Robyn Fox), and Straw Flower Patisserie (seasonal French-inspired pastries spotlighting local produce — Laura Skvor). Farm manager Adam Collins brings 38 years of horticulture experience and is a passionate advocate of regenerative farming and low-stress livestock handling.
