The Red Hill Market
The monthly market on the hill is now the Hill & Ridge Community Market — held at Red Hill Recreation Reserve on the first Saturday of every month from September through May, hosted by the Red Hill Agricultural & Horticultural Society (est. 1922).
First Saturday of the month, September to May.
9am – 2pm
No March market — that weekend is the annual Red Hill Show.

Free entry. On-site parking.
What you'll find
Peninsula-grown fruit and vegetables, cheese, honey, baked goods, preserves, plants and seedlings, alongside artisan makers, live music and community stalls. It's a working-market atmosphere — makers, growers and musicians gathering on the hill, right on the edge of the Peninsula's wine country.
A note on the name change
A market has run at Red Hill Recreation Reserve on the first Saturday of the month since 1975. The name changed in late 2024 after Mornington Peninsula Shire re-tendered the site: operation moved from Craft Markets Australia (who ran the trademarked Red Hill Community Market) to the Red Hill Agricultural & Horticultural Society, who launched the market as Hill & Ridge.
Same reserve, same first-Saturday rhythm, same focus on Peninsula growers and makers — new custodians. When locals say "the Red Hill market", this is the one that's on.
